DAAD to fund international cooperation with NTNU Trondheim

The joint research proposal "Key Exchange for Today's Internet" by Dr Gareth Davies (BUW) and Professor Colin Boyd (NTNU) was successful in the joint programme "PPP Norway 2020" of the German DAAD and the Norwegian Research Council (Forskningsrådet). It will enable close collaboration between the two universities.

Cryptographic key exchange protocols are an essential building block for secure communication on the Internet. Besides Dr Davies, Kai Gellert and Prof. Tibor Jager are also involved in the project on the BUW side.

"Professor Colin Boyd is one of the internationally most renowned experts in this field. I am very much looking forward to the collaboration, which will bring us technical progress and also further improve the international visibility of our university," said Dr Davies.
