New research project: Resilience in Connected Worlds
22.09.2022|12:00 Uhr
The Chair for IT-Security and Cryptography will participate in a new research project called "Resilience in Connected Worlds – Mastering Failures, Overload, Attacks, and the Unexpected" (https://www.resilient-worlds.org/), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). In this project we will pursue foundational research aimed at securing networked control systems such as smart grids and autonomous vehicles. Ensuring the security and resilience of these systems poses challenging problems and will require the development of new and innovative approaches. The importance of this work becomes even clearer when considering that attacks on control systems may not only cause financial, but also bodily harm and damage infrastructure.
